Elon’s Active Minds club is a chapter of the national nonprofit, Active Minds, whose mission is to break the stigma around mental health. As former Public Relations Chair, I helped build a community and safe space for students across campus to let them know they are not alone in the mental health struggles they may have.
Some ways in which I have helped make a difference was through creating collateral for the club’s socials (Instagram and Facebook) to keep club members in the loop about meetings and events and designed apparel, including, but not limited to T-shirts.
My work with the Active Minds club has inspired me to pursue design work with like organizations to help make a positive impact.
